This week I finished my grandson’s birthday present and focused on creating two new fabric collections. I decided on an idea for the newest Spoonflower design challenge with Betabrand, and ordered some fat quarters on sale!  The biggest relief was the release of the PDF sling bag pattern! So here’s the latest weekly thread…

Fun Sewing Project

Some of you have seen this outfit posted on my other social media sites!  I finished the little outfit for my grandson’s birthday and now that  I have more time I think that a pair of wave shorts will work well too. The shorts only takes a fat quarter of fabric and since the Spoonflower BOGO sale is in effect until the 14th of July I figured it’s a great time to buy the splash design along with a several designs from the orange collection too!

I’ve been working on two textile collections this week!  The Jewel collection that’s bold and beautiful and a Slate collection that has soft colors with slate blue highlights. Here are a few favorites on Instagram this week.
