This week I received my pattern from Sprout Pattern printed on my latest Spoonflower textile design to complete my LaCartera Baby project. I had a fun textile design session with my Auntie who tested out my painting techniques and focused on new textile design samples for a friend. I completed the Sling Bag pattern and will upload it to Etsy on July 5th. And my blogger friend shared a photo of her latest LaCartera textile purchase… I can’t wait to see her finished project! So here’s the latest weekly thread!
Shopping for Textiles, Pattern Making and More Textiles
I received my Sprout Pattern and Starry Dream print to get started on my designer threads as a birthday present for my grandson! I selected the Kids Recess Raglan pattern by See Kate Sew and I created a pattern for the shorts so I’m all set. Here’s how the pattern was sent to me! The pattern pieces are outlined on the fabric and printed as one piece. Everything is really coming together.

Sling Bag PDF Pattern
I missed sharing this lovely bag with you last week made by Sandy! I love the way she mixed the textile patterns and added a little piping to the flap! And it surely looks fabulous! I’ll have the Sling Bag posted on Etsy on July 5th after the holiday celebration with family and friends!
