Hello Handbag Junkies’ It’s Hit or Miss time!
I decided to try the sling bag pattern with different fabrics in my stash! This floral print is one of the textiles I purchased in Singapore and the rich jewel tones drew me in… that’s when I fell in love with this Japanese cotton textile!
What do you think? Is it a Hit or Miss? Fab or Drab?
Here’s a look at the back of the sling bag with tie straps to allow you to adjust the length that you want.
There’s one inside zippered welt pocket to hold your wallet and keys, with a gold color lining and plenty of room.
I think that this sling bag is perfect for those floral print lovers, shopping, or to add a touch of Boho Chic to your wardrobe.
What do you think? Is it a Hit or Miss? Fab or Drab?
Stay tuned there’s more to come from La Cartera!

Would work with and outfit of solid colors and maybe with a necklace or scarf of the same design.

Don’t know jack about fashion design but look at it from the idea of color and form (composition) of an art piece.

Thank you! I wanted the border to break up the pattern a bit and give a little interest.
