Who loves a craft room? A dream space where you can craft, craft and craft!
Well I’m happy to announce that Wayfair, the online furniture and décor store has featured my craft room workstation alongside a few other DIY bloggers on their site!
The feature is on Wayfair’s Workbenches and Worktables page. Read more here ….
What’s your favorite crafting space?
As a kid my craft room was my bedroom, only because my bedroom was actually a living room on the top floor of our row house. A lot of row houses in the city are multi-family apartments, and our home happened to have two open units. So I had more than enough room and a place for all of my crafts and sewing! You never realize know how much your positive childhood experiences influences your adult life!
So why do I love my craft room??? Besides the storage and the large tabletop I can stay organized, meaning I have a place for all of my stuff and I find it easy to put things back in its place after my project is completed. I also love that I can walk around the workstation and there’s a little entertainment incorporated into the room too. Here are a couple of photos that were not included in the Wayfair feature. I framed some of my artwork on the wall and my inspiration board keeps me inspired too! Many of you never get to see the back of my workstation so I thought that it would be helpful to you to get an idea of the all of the storage I have there as well!
Whatever your craft we all dream of having that perfect spot that we can call our own! So why not organize your space to do the things you love. I love crafts rooms so much that I have a Pinterest Board dedicated to “Craft Room Inspiration” showcasing those items and room décor I found around the web. So if you need more inspiration you can…. Check it out here…
Your craft room looks so great, Sheila 🙂
I do have a room too, but I haven’t found out, how to make it in a good order yet, even I would like it to be more easy to use. I think, this have had to do with the many moves, as I have had here in Spain. In many places I didn’t have enough furniture to be able to give all its own space. I should have this here for most of my accessories and tools, but it demands an abundance, as I didn’t have yet.

Thank you, Irene! You’re so right about finding the perfect storage and area that best fit your crafty needs. When I focused on my storage needs it took nearly a year to really decide on the basic storage options and let’s not mention the cost. There are still some additions I would like to make too. I hope you looked at the Wayfair link, because some of the diy bloggers have some really creative work areas that may give you some ideas! 😁

Yes, I visited the site and found many good ideas and I think the one with many cabinets, looks almost like a kitchen, would fit my need for space 😀

I just got through turning my guest room closet into a craft station. I love it and now my daughter does her homework in there, which is so funny to me, it is pretty small. I have been watching craft room tutorials on YouTube lately and there are a lot of great ideas out there. Your craft station looks great, thanks for sharing.
