Wow! That explains the past week… I’ve had very little time to dedicate to sewing, but I was able to get some fall designs completed, ordered new sewing labels and business cards. I’m planning to take a blogging break for most of the month of September and plan to have some scheduled posts that will cover some of my time away from you guys!
Textile designs and Shopping
I’ve created some fun fall textile designs that will be released next week in the Indian Summer Collection on Spoonflower. I’ve posted the reds here, but there’s more heading your way so stay tuned! I’ll post more on Instagram throughout the month so you can check-in there too!
I’ve started on the next collection of hand painted designs and setup my work space… I never thought I would say it, but I LOVE this paint marbling technique!
Fall paint colors, Insul-Bright insulated batting for more oven mitts, poplin fabric cut into painting samples business cards from Vista Print and fabric sewing labels. Amazon* same day delivery for the Insul-Bright and the Jacquard textile paints really came in handy and were a welcome surprise. (*As an Amazon Affiliate I will receive a small commission from the purchase of products offered on this blog. Thank you in advance for your support!)
I scoured Etsy for custom sew in fabric labels and I found the perfect designer to get the job done for a great price. MadMadGraphics really delivered a great product.. Custom Order Fabric Labels • Your Logo • Your Text • Various Sizes • 100% Cotton • Colorfast • 60-80 Labels Depending on Size • Uncut for $28
