Sewing Textiles
I finished the silk blouse prototype and the satin blouse! I haven’t worked with silk and satin in a very long time, and now I remember why! I did take notes to share with you in a helpful sewing tip post on how to handle silk and satin. At first glance one would expect to use the same technique for both, but that’s not the case! I still wish I ordered fabric with a little stretch, but I love the final look and can’t wait to wear it soon!

Here’s a side view with the shoulder cross collar, vented side and slightly lower back length than the front.

Designing Textiles
I’ve been trying to find my blue… A blue textile that makes a statement has been a little challenging. Here are some of the designs that I’ve posted on Instagram for the “Blue Marble Collection!
