Blue Tropical Explosion – Is it a Hit or Miss?

Hello everyone, it’s my favorite time of the week… It’s Hit or Miss time!

I’ve been busy this week working on custom orders and adding to the “Tropical Explosion Collection”.  So now I’m happy to Introduce the Blue Tropical Explosion!

What do you think? Is it a Hit or Miss? Fab or Drab?

I used a fabulous painted burlap fabric for the body of the purse, and blue canvas fabric for the trim and handles.  The handles and side pockets are covered with a plastic vinyl.  I love using the vinyl especially on the handles so that it does not attract dirt or sweat from your hands.

Adding snaps on each end of the sides, and a magnetic closure at the top of the bag gives the handbag a sleek look when closed.  My favorite feature is the ability to leave the bag open so that it converts to a mini tote whenever you need a little more space!

There are two inside pockets, with a blue linen lining.  This purse will also have a  vinyl cover over the bottom of the purse to help keep it clean, but I forgot to add it to this one.

Not drab, different. Wonderfully neutral without being…invisible. I can’t think of anything this bag wouldn’t match. You need things that pop with color but at the same time, you also need a go to bag in your closet and this could end up being that! good job.

Looking at it the second time, it kind of grows on me. I like the simplicity and the multiple uses of it. Blue on a neutral background is quite attractive. It’s a hit.

  5. Love it! Love it! Awesome fabric, too!

I love to hear from you!
