As you know this month I have been upcycling, recycling, and repurposing textiles to create purses/totes and wallets. Well I have finally used some colorful fabric from Accra, Ghana and turquoise fabric I’ve had for years. I think the combination is pretty cool, for a spring time and “Urban Summer” look. The start of something wonderful!
The snow and cold put a damper on my visit to the fabric store this weekend, so this week I will purchase snaps for the handle and she will be complete. I plan to post a 3 part tutorial on the “Urban Summer” project soon. I’m looking forward to next weekend so that I can create something new.
