Marbling Textiles – Hit or Miss? Fab or Drab?

Practicing fabric marbling techniques kept me busy this weekend.  I used shaving cream to drop my paint and used a modified raking technique with the pointed end of my paint brush to create a collection of textile designs. I’m so pleased with the outcome.

What do you think? Is it a hit or miss? Fab or Drab?

Here’s a look at the process

I’ve uploaded some of the fabrics to my new Spoonflower fabric shop and ordered swatches to see how the designs will look.  So none of the fabrics are for sale until I approve the color and details of the swatches.

You can click on the photos below to preview the fabric template in different sizes and see other designs I created over the weekend!

wow that looks cool and very fun to do!! I love the way the summer marble daze came out but since purple & green are my fav colors my eye keeps going for the purple in the marble bloom!!
