Hello everyone, my favorite time of the week is here… It’s Hit or Miss time!
I’m inspired by all of my mixed media artist friends, and with a little coaxing from a friend I created this “Tropical Explosion” cross body purse! My first mixed textile purse. (10″ width x 8″ length)
What do you think? Is it a Hit or Miss? Fab or Drab?
I mixed leather, canvas, and vinyl into this design. The leather handle and bottom trim piece really give it an edge. The cross body straps are removable for versatility.
I added the clear plastic vinyl as a side panel and pocket.
I included two pockets inside not shown here….

I like it! Is it big enough for tablet as well as long billfold? Would the side pockets accommodate a cell phone?

Thank you! Yes to all! A kindle fits with room to spare, a long billfold and more. The side pockets will accommodate a Samsung Galaxy cell phone too.
