E-Patterns or electronic patterns have been on my mind for a while now. If you’ve noticed I’ve been a little distant lately, it’s because I’ve been researching digital patterns, and learning Adobe’s ID (In Design program). Not sure if this is the best program to create digital patterns, but I’m making a good effort to learn how to create great digital designs. So far Microsoft Publisher is quick and easy. I think it’s because I’m familiar with the program, and Adobe ID is foreign to me. And it is like learning a foreign language, I find my self watching the tutorial videos several times before I can remember the icon functions… I was able to download Adobe for a 30 day trial period before I decide to buy, but I think it’s going to take 30 days before I learn the program. As I get older, I am now becoming resistant to learning computer programs…. I just want to create.
Since this learning curve is putting a damper on my creativity, I had to create a pattern immediately. I used my handy-dandy Microsoft Publisher to create this pattern cover, and I am working on the patterns. So far Microsoft allows me to create true measurements. Check out the cover page! 
So the E-Pattern, or PDF Pattern is coming soon! I think I have time to watch another video, so take care! I hope to show a comparison of the two programs soon.

I think AdobeIllustrator would be better for your puropses. And I can reassure you that it’s not such a hard switch from InDesign to Illustrator.
The pattern looks fantastic! You are a natural ;).
